This is Caribbean Unity

This year will be the beginning of a promising future for the Soca industry here in the UK with Feevah Entertainment, Iron Fist Productions, Videographer - Kelly Gittens, Soca Network Media and a range of carefully selected recording artists in the Uk coming together forming a 'Caribbean Unity'.

The ambitious duo Iron Fist Productions and Feevah Entertainment have merged talents to bring you some of the finest Soca music created on this side of the planet but will have the grueling task of carving a plausible Soca industry in the UK. This has brought forward the idea of a newborn business... the opening of brand new branch of Iron Fist devoted entirely to Soca music.

Quality Videographer KG Kelly Gittens, has joined the winning team of vigorous workers and will be in charge of overseeing all of the broadcasting ventures on this project. The trailer for Caribbean Unity the compilation is currently in its finishing stages.

This is the Caribbean Unity chain of associate companies. Key players thus far; artist management/ promotions company Feevah Entertainment, record label Iron Fist Productions, Videographer - Kelly Gittens, PR company Soca Network Media, event coordinators Soca Train UK, sponsors Cockspur, Tropical Rythms, Indulge RumPunch, Eternal Flair Hair Studio & heavyweight carnival band Mangrove amongst others.

Caribbean Unity the compilation, is a compiled selection of artists from the far reaching corners of the Caribbean coming together for a common cause, to embody the spirit of Caribbean Unification.

Caribbean Unity the medley, will tease the listener with a sneak-preview, capturing a delicious slice of the Caribbean Unity compilation, featuring artists such as Soca Johnny from Dominica, with his cheeky but nonetheless humorous lyrics , in the song - 'Shake'. Next up is Trinidad & Tobago's Silvah, flexing some lyrical muscle in his song entitled - 'On De Road' and Flair Won with the title track for the compilation - 'Caribbean Unity' who enlisted other Soca artists to proliferate and convey this message of Caribbean unification.

CARIBBEAN UNITY T-SHIRT ARMY

Deeply rooted in the community, the Mangrove Association attained institutional status in North Kensington in the 70s. It has become a key part of the history of the development of the Notting Hill Carnival and the struggle of the African Caribbean community to establish itself in North Kensington. Mangrove’s role in the shaping and planning of the Notting Hill Carnival was pivotal, as it became the headquarters for the organizers, performers and musicians taking part. Through the energy and commitment of its Steel band and Mas band, the Mangrove Association continues to be a central part of the success of the Notting Hill Carnival today.

The Caribbean Unity T-shirt Army is a project not only geared at the preservation of the Caribbean culture and its African roots, but it also gives each participant the chance to express themselves through music and unite as one caribbean and not as individual islands, which create divisions in the Soca industry. These concepts must be exposed and our people re-educated, which are the first steps to move forward on this mission of Caribbean Unification.

We called it a T-shirt 'Army' and not a T-shirt 'Band', to further strengthen this mission.

CARIBBEAN UNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM

From the funds raised, we will send a percentage to various charities across the Caribbean.

In Trinidad and Tobago, there is a children's home called Family Cottage, which needs help with building and development, we will offer our financial aid to help them progress with these issues that they face, also donating a laptop(s) because we had problems before with correspondence.

We will be also working with orphanages in Guyana, St.Lucia and Barbados. As the company grows, the opportunity to extend our hand further throughout the Caribbean and Africa, will be grasped.
