Under the patronage of the new high commissioner and accompanied by two of the actors from the show that has made him famous East Enders.
About the book
The life story of Rudolph Walker, an actor whose career on stage and television in the UK spans 42 years. This book includes photographs, illustrations and exclusive interviews. Rudolph was born in Trinidad in the Caribbean. When he was only 20 years old he left the island for London, to embark on a career in theater. He is best known for his role as Patrick in "EastEnders" but worked on many popular TV series including "Love Thy Neighbour", "The Thin Blue Line", "Black Silk" and "The Crouches". He has appeared on stage at the Old Vic, the Young Vic, the Tricycle, the Royal Court and the Theater Royal among others.
About the Author
Verna Wilkins is the author of 30 picture books and biographies for young people. Her books have featured on National Curriculum and BBC children's television, and been chosen among the Children's Books of the Year. She was born in Grenada and lives in London. Debbie Hinks is a very experienced illustrator who has worked for all the major publishers in the last twenty years. She still cannot believe her luck that she gets paid for her favourite hobby - observing people and recording what she sees. Her two young children and their friends provide a constant source of inspiration and models. Debbie lives in Brighton.
